Watersound Beach: A Peek Behind the Gates

Behind the security gate under the arched opening of WaterSound Beach, exists timeless Cape Cod–inspired architecture with sugar-white sand and sparkling Gulf seas. The acclaimed architecture of Watersound Beach helped 30A earn the moniker "The Hamptons of the South"  Here, spacious legacy homes are designed for memory-making—where the children wake to southern breakfast,  families golf cart to the beach and come home sun-kissed and sandy for dinners on the porch. It’s the kind of place where traditions take root, stories are shared, and every generation feels right at home.

What truly sets WaterSound Beach apart is its private mile-long stretch of sandy beach on 30A and it's gated security. Three neighborhoods are connected via a network of winding boardwalks, shaded paths, puttering park, pools, beach and gathering spots. Unique to 30A, WaterSound offers the unmatched convenience of golf cart beach access—making sunrise walks, sunset dinners, and spontaneous family beach days easily accessible.

At the heart of it all is the acclaimed WaterSound Beach Club, a private resort-style retreat that elevates everyday living with exceptional amenities, service, and atmosphere.

There’s a reason so many who discover WaterSound never want to leave: it’s more than a destination—it’s where family traditions begin, and where they’re passed down for generations.
